During Covid-19 – an update

I think it’s safe to say that these are unprecedented times, we are seeing something we have never seen  across the whole world with the Covid-19 virus and in response we see businesses, schools and our countries infrastructure have to change as well.

I have already received a lot of calls from people concerned about their Wills or concerned that they do not have the appropriate measures in place for their estate. As such I thought I would write to keep you updated on what I am doing during this situation and how I am changing the way I work to support anyone who needs it.

If you already have a Will or Lasting Power Attorney but have questions – whether they were created through me or not – I am available over the phone or via email (you’ll find all my contact details at the top of the page) to help where I can.

If you don’t have a Will or Lasting Power of Attorney I am happy to talk with you and see if we can find a way to put your mind at rest:

  • If you are healthy and showing no symptoms I am still – at present – able to visit you at home
  • I am able to do initial consultations over the phone or via skype, Facetime or Zoom.
  • I can do signings on the doorstep to minimise contact – whilst a witness is a necessity, we can maintain the 2 metre distance if needed

Until the Government guidance changes I will continue to offer these options to clients who need me and when things do change I will update you.

I hope you all stay safe and look after yourself and your families in these unusual times.
